Close-up photography is quite demanding in terms of depth of field. The objects of interest (e.g., flowers, butterflies) have greater depth compared the distance to the object than most more distant objects. It is therefore desirable to use high f-numbers for closeup photography. There is a limit to how high you can make the effective f-number. 4.3) Three examples of how a smaller sensor influences Depth of Field 4.3.1) Smaller Sensor = decreased depth of field (if identical focus distance, physical focal length and physical f-number) When you put photographs from two cameras next to each other to compare them, you are typically looking at these images at the same size. However, the URPのDepth Of Field(被写界深度)のポストエフェクトを見ていく記事です。上の画像のように背景をぼかしたような演出に使えます。 被写界深度については調べると沢山出てきますが、ここではURP上ではどう使ったらどんな感じに見た目が変わるのかを見ていきます。 For example, if the lens focal length and the shooting distance stay the same, the depth of field is much deeper at f/16 than at f/1.4. The shorter the lens focal length, the deeper the depth of field (the other two factors remaining the same). For example, comparing a 55mm lens with a 200mm lens at the same aperture and shooting distance Total depth of field (DOF): The distance between the farthest and nearest objects in a scene that appear acceptably sharp in an image. This can also be identified as the zone of acceptable sharpness in front of and behind the plane of focus (where the lens is focused). Calculating depth of field and defocus The image distance as the object distance in-creases % We use the opticsDepthDefocus to calculate the image distance % for different object distances [tmp, imgDist] = opticsDepthDefocus(objDist, optics); vcNewGraphWin; o = objDist*ieUnitScaleFactor('mm'); To adjust depth of field in the viewport, select the object that you want to focus on, and enable the Heads Up Display to view its distance from the camera. Enable Depth of Field in the camera Attribute Editor, and set this distance as your Focus Distance. See Adjust depth of field for a video demonstration. What is depth of field (DOF) The simplest definition for depth of field is the area of your image that is in focus. More specifically, the distance between the nearest and the farthest object that are in focus.
